Wednesday 1st August, 4.00pm – 6.00pm, Hannafore Beach, West Looe
Dive into the Blue Planet and see life below the waves for yourself.
A supervised snorkelling event for 9 – 24 year old locals with Cornwall Wildilfe Trust’s YourShore Beach Ranger Project and Looe Marine Conservation Group. Discover the secrets of the sea and come face-to-face with some amazing wildlife. Enjoy a hot chocolate on the beach afterwards.
The YourShore Beach Rangers project is a perfect way to discover marine conservation in fun and challenging ways. Snorkelling, clambering through gullies and exploring places that a normal rock pooling session can’t reach. Ideal for the young and adventurous.
Kiosk and toilets nearby. Unaccompanied children under 16 must be signed in by a parent or guardian. All participants must be confident swimmers and confident in the sea.
Equipment provided, but bring your own kit and wetsuit if you can.
This event is part of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust YourShore Beach Rangers Programme and is for local 9-24 year olds only.
Booking essential through Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
