Welcome to our ‘What’s On’ page. Scroll down to read more about our indoor and outdoor activities held throughout the year.
Update 24 July 2020: Due to ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, please note that for everyone’s safety, all of our forthcoming events remain cancelled or postponed indefinitely. Please check our social media pages for any updates. We are sorry for any disappointment and thank you for your continued support.
Our meetings are currently being conducted by Zoom. Please contact us for more information if you would like to attend. Meetings are open to everyone and are often preceded by a talk. In normal times, they are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, upstairs at the RNLI Station, East Looe. We usually start with hot drinks from 6.00pm followed by a talk and our meeting, but please check the events list as this may vary.
Full event list 2020 – a downloadable version of our event list is coming soon – details are listed for each event below. Please note that these events will now not take place until further notice.
Our events are free unless otherwise stated, but donations to the group are very welcome.
All ages are welcome unless otherwise stated, but please note that under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all our events. Our Facebook page is updated with weather dependent information closer to each event. No booking is required for most events.
Looe Marine Conservation Group is run entirely by volunteers. We’d love to hear from you if you have an interest in marine wildlife and would like to help out at our events or in any other way. No experience or knowledge is required as we provide training. New Members are always welcome – find out more here.
