When:  Tuesday 18th November , 18:15-20:30

Where:  RNLI Lifeboat Station Crew room, Looe

Lead:  Cttee Member ‘Month Chair’

Chris and Annabelle Lowe have been running “Atlantic Diving” for about 35 years and in that time have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about the marine habitat and environment on the North Cornwall Coast around Newquay and beyond….

In the last ten years they have expanded further into Marine Wildlife and sustainable environmentally friendly business practices including Cage Diving with Blue Sharks, Snorkeling with Basking Sharks and the very popular Newquay Sea Safaris.

Newquay Sea Safaris conduct regular research and marine studies via their links with the local Newquay Marine College, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Cornwall Seal Group, British Divers Marine Life Rescue, CWT Marine Strandings, The Shark Trust and Shark Conservation Society.

Atlantic Diver currently maintains and deploys F-Pods a device to record cetacean ( Dolphin, Whale, Harbour Porpoise, Orca) communication underwater and carries out lobster hatchery diver release.

Find out about the marine life you can spot in, out of and on the water off the North of Cornwall Coast.

Chris Lowe, owner and skipper of Atlantic Diver, will share his stories and sightings from blue fin tuna to bottlenose dolphins and more….
